The language of instruction at the university is Kyrgyz and Turkish from Turkey. A one-year preparatory class is mandatory within the university. The preparatory class is not included in the education period. Students coming from Turkey will study the Kyrgyz Language Preparatory Program in the preparatory class. Students who pass the exemption exam of the language preparatory program they are responsible for can start the first year directly. In addition, along with Kyrgyz in the preparatory class; English is provided as compulsory preparatory language education in the “International Relations”, “Business”, “Economics”, “Finance and Banking” and “English Language and Literature” Programs, and Russian is provided as compulsory preparatory language education in the “Turkish from Turkey-Russian Translation and Interpreting” Programs. Students who successfully complete the preparatory class or pass the exemption exams are registered for the first year.
Students accepted to the university from Kyrgyzstan are required to learn Turkish. In addition, in the preparatory class, along with Kyrgyz; “International Relations”, “Business”, “Economics”, ‘’Finance and Banking’’ and ‘’English Language and Literature’’, English in the ‘’Kyrgyz-English Translation and Interpreting’’ Programs, and Russian in the ‘’Turkey Turkish-Russian Translation and Interpreting’’ Programs, compulsory preparatory language education is applied. Students who successfully complete the preparatory class or pass the exemption exams are registered for the first year.
Students from other countries and communities who do not know Turkish and Kyrgyz learn Turkish and Kyrgyz together.

Students who graduated from secondary schools that provide education in one of the university's languages of instruction are directly exempt from that language. In this case, students who pass the exemption exam in the other language of instruction can directly start the first year without being exempt from Preparatory Education. However, students who are registered to programs that require Russian and English as prerequisites must also pass the exemption exam in that language in order to be exempt from the Preparatory Class.
Exemption Exams are held on the dates specified in the Academic Calendar.
Yes, students who fail the Preparatory Class are given the right to take the exemption exam at the beginning of the following academic year. In addition, students who are not successful in the exemption exam are given the right to study in the Preparatory Class for one more year.

You will receive your Student ID Card from the Student Affairs Office.
