General Information

Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University (KTMU) was established on September 30, 1995 with the International Agreement signed in Izmir. Since 1996, it started education and training activities.

The university is in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

 The University has the status of State University with Special Status in Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

The languages of the university are Turkish and Kyrgyz.

The diplomas issued by the university are equivalent to the diplomas issued by state universities in Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. This equivalence is provided by law and also does not require any equivalence process. The diplomas issued by the University are also valid in other countries with which Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have education agreements.

The university provides education at associate, undergraduate and graduate levels.

In associate degree programs, Preparatory + 2 years, in undergraduate programs, Preparatory + 4 years (Veterinary Faculty Preparatory + 5, Medical Faculty Preparatory + 6). Master's program is Preparatory + 2 years, and Doctoral program is Preparatory + 4 years.

Education at the university (except for the Faculty of Medicine) is completely free.
