Visa and Residence Procedures

 2024 T.C. Students placed with ÖSYS:

     Turkish nationals who have the right to be placed in higher education programs of our university must obtain an entry visa before coming to Kyrgyzstan. Entry visa will be obtained electronically. Entry visa application must be made three weeks (21-25 days) before the date of arrival in Kyrgyzstan.
After entering Kyrgyzstan with an entry visa, a residence application must be submitted to the Passport and Visa Unit within 3 days. Students should apply for an annual visa to the Passport and Visa Unit 20 days before the expiration of the entry visa.

Students whose student status continues at our university:

    Students who continue their education outside Kyrgyzstan during the online education period due to the pandemic must obtain an Entry visa before coming to Kyrgyzstan in case their visa expires. Entry visa will be obtained electronically. Entry visa application must be made three weeks (21-25 days) before the date of arrival in Kyrgyzstan. After entering Kyrgyzstan with an entry visa, a residence application must be submitted to the Passport and Visa Unit within 3 days. Within 20 days before the expiration date of the entry visa, applicants should apply for an annual visa to the Passport and Visa Unit.

Identity photo
Passport (Front page with information)
ÖSYS Placement Result Document

(For intermediate students)
Biometric identity photo (5x6 size and white background)
Passport (Front page with information and pages with last entry and exit stamps)
Kyrgyz or Russian Student Certificate (up-to-date from obis.manas.edu.kg)

Your documents must be in image format (JPG, PNG).
Passport validity must be at least 24 months.
Identity photo must be taken within the last 6 months.
Entry visa applications are made via e-mail.
Send your documents to passportoffice@manas.edu.kg. Your visa will be sent by e-mail when it is ready.

In accordance with the agreement between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, student entry visa is free of charge.

No, once you are enrolled at the University, all visa and residence procedures will be handled by the University staff on your behalf.

A 1-year multiple entry and exit visa and residence fee for students is approximately 183 USD.

You must deliver it within 3 (three) working days. Otherwise you will have to pay a late fee.

Yes, at the Embassy of Turkey in Bishkek, you can change or extend your passport.
